Alright so I'm creatively blocked and super bored so we're gonna have a cop out blog and have some September obsessions! Woooo.





1) Foster the People


Except I really don't like Pumped Up Kicks. I do love this song though. So much.






2) Taco Bell Chicken Flatbread Sandwiches


Umm these are only 99 cents. And they're actually delicious. I am not ashamed hahaha.






3) Catcher in the Rye


I tried reading this book before my junior year(?) of high school and I absolutely hated it. I decided to cop out and just read the Spark Notes but I was assigned to read it for my Adolescent Lit class and I absolutely love it. It's up there in my favorite books now. If you hated the book in high school I recommend you try rereading it. Or if you haven't read it you should give it a try. It's a very polarizing book and it seems like you either really hate it or really love it but yeah. Holden Caulfield

Astrology

So I've always been intrigued by astrology but my bff Josh White has gotten me more into it (as well as most of my friends). It's hilarious, we have these deep cons about how our signs are the best and how we interact with each other. They may not be worth basing your whole life off of or anything but they're pretty interesting and can seem surprisingly accurate at times.

I don't know if you guys have heard of this website but I recently found it and I think it's sooo cool/cute/awesome. Basically you take a picture of yourself holding a picture. If that doesn't make any sense then you should check it out and see for yourself haha.





Listening to songs with amazing lyrics that I used to love

Yeah this one is weirdly specific but I recently started listening to some old bands that I used to be obsessed with back in middle school and their lyrics are still amazing. I will always love Brand New, Something Corporate, and Bright Eyes. Also Panic! At the Disco's first album is pretty great to blast in your car when you're feeling a little angry hahaha.

Love Culture

I was looking for new places to buy cute clothes for school and happened upon this website! I had never heard of it before but it's super cute and they have a store opening at City Creek in 2012! Yay. I bought the cardigan above and also another striped cardigan. I'm a sucker for them what can I say?

oh hello May.




I forgot to say hello to my favorite month of the year! Not just because it's my birthday month (which it is) but because it's when Utah finally starts to cooperate and act like springtime. It's beautiful and I absolutely love it.

In other news, I really really want these shirts and they are only 10 dollars right now. Whaaaat?

I can't decide between the green or the pink...oops.
Aren't they all adorbs? And only 10 bucks at ae.com

I might have to splurge for them all ha! Oh wait...I do have a birthday coming up ;)

my one true love...


I completely agree with this picture. People who don't want to travel or see this beautiful Earth that we are so fortunate to live on are crazy and I want nothing to do with them.

I was born to travel. My whole life has been sprinkled with traveling. I was lucky enough to be born to parents who have the means to let us travel quite often. My grandpa was in the Air Force while my dad was growing up so my dad has moved quite a bit. I honestly can't even remember all the places he's lived growing up but I know he lived in Indiana, Texas, England, Germany, Utah, the Philippines and probably other places I've forgotten. Since then he was also in the Air Force for a bit after my parents were married and they lived in Turkey, Germany, and Washington before settling in Utah. I guess you could say traveling is in my blood and something that I'm used to and kind of expect. The airport is almost like my second home, I get so excited every time I drive out there. I'm not a huge fan of the Salt Lake airport but I still love it because of the feelings of anticipation and excitement I get when I go there or the feelings of peace and comfort when I come home to the beautiful SLC skyline and my favorite mountains.

I've had some of my most life changing and maturing experiences while traveling. The summer after my sophomore year of high school I went to Europe for a couple weeks with a group from my school. It was the first time I had really traveled without my family and I learned so much about myself. I honestly know without a doubt I would be a completely different person without the things I have witnessed while traveling. It has made me cultured and appreciative of the freedoms I enjoy in America as well as just appreciating the beautiful world around us. There is so much to see and feel, so many people to meet, and so much to learn.

On that note, I've been in Utah wayy too long. I haven't left the state since last summer and I feel like I'm suffocating. I have never gone this long without some kind of trip being planned. The only thing I have for awhile is random trips to St George which hardly feed my addiction and then South Carolina in the summer like usual.

I need to explore but I have no money to do so. This is one of the worst feelings for me.
My Silver Medallion membership might be expiring soon too. Wonder how many Sky Miles I have... ;)

I officially:

-Suck at school, supposed to be writing an essay and don't even understand the topic
-Love Glee. Didn't think I could love it anymore but I doooo.
-Need sleep. I'm losing my mind from the stress of needing to write this essay and not knowing how mixed with loving Glee and a long car ride home today.

Oh and not giving a crap about the Superbowl was hard work.
Ha joke.

Anyway I should get off this stupid blog.

I looooove this boy. I made it Twitter official. So he basically officially thinks I'm a crazy stalker.

I have done a fair amount of traveling in my 19 years on earth and of the countries I’ve been to and states I’ve visited London is by far my all-time favorite place in the world.

I have been there three times in my life and it is not nearly enough. I definitely want to live there at some point. It is perfection.

I told you I'd leave a light on in case you ever wanted to come back home. You smiled and said you appreciate the gesture. I took your every word to heart cause I can't stand us being apart. And just to show you how much I really miss you, every light in the house is on. The backyard's bright as the crack of dawn. The front walk looks like runway lights. It's kind of like noon in the dead of night. Just in case you ever do get tired of being gone, every light in the house is on.

In other news,

Tree delivery went extremely well today. The fastest it’s ever gone and the easiest. Also first year I’ve done it without Isaac which was really annoying and weird but it’s fiiiine.

Day 31: Favorite books

The Perks of Being a Wallflower has been my favorite book since 8th grade when my good friend Kaylee recommended it to me. I don’t really want this to turn into a book review because you could type the title of the book into Google and achieve the same effect so I’ll leave you with this. This book is incredible. I am 100% sure anyone can relate to it to some extent and I think that is why it’s so powerful.

Also, they’re turning it into a movie and I am livid. I don’t think I’m ever gonna get over it. I really believe this book is not one you can turn into a movie, but I digress.
